EU AI Act
The EU AI Act is coming: the world’s first extensive piece of legislation on artificial intelligence. It sets out rules for responsible development and deployment of AI by companies, public authorities, and other organisations.
Algorithm register
The algorithm register (in Dutch) is the basis for an overview and insight into the algorithms used by government organisations and implementing bodies. This register describes how and why an organisation uses an algorithm.
Algorithms and the GDPR
Algorithms and AI often process personal data. This means that the use of algorithms must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), just like all other processing of personal data.
Supervision of algorithms & AI
Since 2023, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), the Dutch data protection authority, has been the coordinating market surveillance authority for algorithms and AI that involve risks to fundamental values and rights.
